Some advice.

If you're getting lazy, read James. If your faith is below par, read Paul. If you're impatient, consider the book of Job. If you're a little strong-headed, go and see Moses. If you're weak-kneed, have a look at Elijah. If there is no song in your heart, listen to David.

Got Paper

These brothers passing me and they all rolling fly coups.
They throw some (D)iamonds on but they still ain't got the truth
They blow their cheese on it then they die and what's the use
I'm so secure in Jesus all I want in life is fruit
I don't need no fast money NOPE dont need a fast car
Yeah the faith is a race but i't ain't a nascar
Homie you and God got beef
Cause you keep chasin money like them hundreds got feet
Buddy wanna be rich but even 50 done said
That he still feel hungry even tho he got bread
Make em throw away they life got em runnin from feds
Love of money's like crack both of em will leave you dead
When you die and face God aint nothing left to be said
Instead of Chasing the truth you take a lie to the head
And homie all I can do tell you what Jesus said
Repent and turn from your sin cause the kingdom of God's at hand.

You've got money, you've got paper, so what who cares?
You've got money, you've got paper, I've got Jesus baby! x2

people they want cheese american mozzerella
the enemies rat trap might snap any second
I'm like that dude in matthew who after finding a treasure

They got expensive tastes but the faith tastes better
i know the ice wet but the living water wetter
but dont believe me read the 13 letters
or you can torah the gospel and all the prophets
But homie I promise you'll never profit chasing profit
Now look at 1 Timothy 6 it's so clear
you chase the money and wind up in a snare
now a vow of poverty no it's not there
but you pursue God the rest he takes care
you don't step on his back in order to get rich
if you do then you're in sin and ordered to REPENT
you come come to Christ for God You come to Daddy for worship
He aint take that Cross to fund your vanity purchase
even though we all agree that death is certain
it seems we believe there's banks beyond earth (THATS CRAZY)

Money dough cash paper
if it was a woman I promise I used to date her
now that we broke up she be callin ya boy a hater
Cause all I do is use her for Golorifying my maker
my treasures up in heaven Christ is my satisfaction
if I was broke I'd be richer than folk who never had em
God is the Gospel not a new bentley
was empty and he gave us life and that's plenty

I'm a Saint

Used to be where I could only trust me and myself
and then that Heavy metal devil that could send me straight to hell with it
Thought it was no helping it my selfishness was celibate
I sell a bit but I make sure I don't sit up in that cell a bit
I'd yell a bit but only when hurt came for certain
Illiterate ain't know that the word came
But then the word hit me and unblinded me
Jesus paid a price for me that's how I gained the right to be the son of God I'd like to be
Changed my heart and gave me a desire for his work man
Kill me if you want but I'm gone get back out that dirt man
Not yet what I'm gonna be but not what I used to be
Bless his name forever who would chose me and start using me
Used to love my sinning full of greed full of hate
I might say that I love Jesus but that talk was really fake
I'd be lustin for your cousin if it wasnt for His Grace
Yeah He took me outta nothing and He made ya boy a saint

Yeah they tell me sugar coat it, dump it down but I can't
Might as well could deny the Jesus and be ashamed but I ain't...I'm a Saint
Til the day I see the grave I'm going hard in the paint
It's the only We hope we got thats why I'll die for the faith. I'm a Saint

You got to understand Jesus agreed back in eternity
to sign a bloody covenant and take a deadly turn for me
He ain't just agree he fulfilled it to the death of em
he took that bloody cup that's meant for us str8 to the neck and yeah
he swallowed all that bitterness that pain and affliction
ain't a soul in hell with pain comparable to this one
brought me to repentance homie I'm blood purchased
and daily I'm conformed to his holiness so I worship
Jesus finished the work he resurrected on High
that means he beat death and best believe so will I
see some believe they can fly but I believe I can die
resurrect leave the earth and live forever with God
He will march through the sky while the stars sing his praises
the planets dance around and the universe is amazed
and me I get to gaze upon his beauty for days
man if I could be anything baby I'd be a saint

Now you might think I'm crazy like some kinda urban misfit
but first I hated church I'd only pray to give my wish list
I'd be just like you doing my dancing in the club folk
I promise I ain't it choose it I was chosen to loved on
eyes low blowing dro that's the life I used to know
but Jesus chopped me up and slowed me down just like that Houston flow
a dead man until somebody hit me with the hardest facts
the Gospel hit my heart I guess that's what you call a heart attack
I'm looking at Ephesians 2 like what did Jesus see in you
nothin by his grace he chose to love on folk like me and u
and I don' t understand it homie I never planned it
I was chasing money and fast women and man
then I met the great I am/son of man or the lamb
snatched ya boy up outta hell/ and got working for his plans
Used think I was the man/til I met em
all that arrogance and pride I dead em and fo'get em/ I'm a Saint!

If we aren't really ready for commitment, what's the point of getting into intimate and romantic relationships?

Man enough to answer

Lena Lathrop's poem.

Do you know you have asked for the costliest thing
Ever made by the Hand above?
A woman's heart, and a woman's life--
And a woman's wonderful love.

Do you know you have asked for this priceless thing
As a child might ask for a toy?
Demanding what others have died to win,
With the reckless dash of a boy.

You have written my lesson of duty out,
Manlike, you have questioned me.
Now stand at the bars of my woman's soul
Until I shall question thee.
You require your mutton shall always be hot,
Your socks and your shirt be whole;
I require your heart be true as God's stars
And as pure as His heaven your soul.

You require a cook for your mutton and beef,
I require a far greater thing;
A seamstress you're wanting for socks and shirts--
I look for a man and a king.

A king for the beautiful realm called Home,
And a man that his Maker, God,
Shall look upon as He did on the first
And say: It is very good."

I am fair and young, but the rose may fade
From this soft young cheek one day;
Will you love me then 'mid the falling leaves,
As you did 'mong the blossoms of May?

Is your heart an ocean so strong and true,
I may launch my all on its tide?
A loving woman finds heaven or hell
On the day she is made a bride.

I require all things that are grand and true,
All things that a man should be;
If you give this all, I would stake my life
To be all you demand of me.

If you cannot be this, a laundress and cook
You can hire and little to pay;
But a woman's heart and a woman's life
Are not to be won that way.

"To girls reading this, I pray this poem serves as a reminder to keep your standards high. Require all things that are "grand and true." As you consider the possibility of marriage, don't lower your standards for a moment; any guy who asks you to do so isn't worth your time.

And to the guys, we have our work cut out for us, don't we? My hope for us is that we would truly grasp the costliness, the pricelessness, of a woman's love. It is no small thing, no game, to invite a girl to accompany us through life. May we earn the right to make such a request by striving to be men of integrity--men whose hearts are oceans "strong and true." Then, and only then, should we stand at the bars of a woman's soul and ask to gain entrance." By Joshua Harris, the author of "I kissed dating goodbye", and "Boy meets Girl".

What is marriage?

Marriage is the first institution (Genesis 2:22-24).
"Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man,
and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman', for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father
and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." It was ordained before the family
before civil government--even before the church.

Marriage depicts the supernatural union between Jesus and the church (Ephesians 5:31-32)
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh." This is a profound mystery--
but I am talking about Christ and the church." One of the most beautiful analogies God uses to define
His relationship with us is that of a marriage. To grasp this is both inspirational and sobering.
People should be able to look at our marriages and say, "So that's what the church is like? That's what
it means to have a relationship with Jesus?" God intends to cultivate the same abundant, unconditional
love between a husband and wife as He Himself has for us. Marriage is a profound and marvelous mystery
established by God for His glory.

Marriage is the event God has selected to consummate all of time (Revelation 19:7)
"Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready." God has had at least two thousand years to make preparations for
honoring His Son at the end of the age. It's significant that God has not scheduled the coronation of
the Lamb or the graduation of the Lamb. Instead He has ordained the marriage supper of the Lamb. Why
marriage? Because it speaks of union and intimacy as nothing else does. The greatest thing God could
plan for Jesus was to present Him with His radiant Bride. No wonder we are so deeply moved when a bride
walks down the aisle. Marriage is a holy and wonderful gift. And one day we will be called to account
for our stewardship of this gift.

Marriage is to be held in honor (Hebrews 13:4) "Marriage should be honored by all,
and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." The
Amplified Version of the Bible elaborates on this verse, nothing that marriage should be esteemed worthy
precious, of great price, and especially dear. This requires that we guard against any thought that
dishonors or belittles marriage.

Marriage is a refining process. Conflict will occur in every marriage. When issues erupt between the
two of you, it will be easy for one to blame the other. "If you would just leave the air conditioner on
when it gets this hot, I wouldn't get upset!" The fact is, your spouse won't make you sin. They simply
reveal what's already in your heart. One of the best wedding gifts God will give you is a full-length
mirror called your spouse. If He were to attach a card it would say, "Here's to helping you discover
what you're really like. Congratulations!"

Marriages are happy. It's the living together afterward that's tough.

A good marriage is not just a gift, it's an achievement.

Marriage is not for kids. It takes guts and maturity. It separates the men from the
boys and the women from the girls.

Marriage is tested daily by the ability to compromise. Its survival can depend on being smart enough to know what's worth fighting about. Or making an issue of or even mentioning.

Marriage is giving--and more important, it's forgiving.

Surrender to God as God's servant

"God, I want to be Your servant. I know that I can do nothing on my own. I know that I cannot achieve the success that You call me to achieve. I depend entirely on You to do Your work through me. I know that You can do anything You choose to do. I give myself completely to You. Work through me any way You want to work. Show me where You are at work and include me in that work. I will not question Your call. I will do any work You show me to do wherever that work is. Lord, accept the worship and dedication of Your servant today. In Jesus' name I prayed. Amen."

Shall I make the sacrifice?

I need to save money. But if I want to, I need to skip almost all the outings with my friends, I have to skip movie, skip cake eating session, skip alot of things, except for TQ's outing and other church's activity... And this is all the sacrifice I have to make, for my money saving plan, but I cherish those times out with my friends, cause I knew these times will not last for too long, soon we will all busy studying, working, each having our own life, we will only meet on Saturday and Sunday, maybe Wed sometimes when meeting, but it will be very hard for us to come out to play till very late, even ton overnight. It will be very hard for us to have those outings like we have now, and by then we will and we only can feel nostalgic about it... So the question is, shall I keep it the way now? Or shall I go for the money saving plan?
The way now: Have fun with friends. For next time all these will only become memories...
Money saving plan: Skip the fun with friends. Save for my future, but will sort of regret next time, cause I've missed all the fun with them...

I keeps on holding on to these few verses, Matthew 6:25-34 and Philips 4:6-7. Yes... I really shall not worry after all... Whatever will be, will be.

Adversary

I've noticed there is yet another antagonist.... All I could do is to seek His kingdom and His righteousness first and pray in faith and hope that He will surely have the best plans for all of us....
