Right here waiting
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain
If I see you next to never
How can we say forever
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I took for granted all the times
That I thought would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now
Oh can't you see it baby
You've got me going crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I wonder how we can survive this romance
But in the end if I'm with you I'll take the chance
Oh can't you see it baby
You've got me going crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you.....
For now, it shall be like this...
Too holy...?
Yesterday as we were "celebrating" our grandma's birthday, my bro was using my cousin's computer to watch some videos from youtube. And one of it was some dance from Brown Eyed Girls' Abracadabra or w/e alibaba. As the dance is some sort of sexy dance, I warn both of them not to watch this kind of video too often, cause you'll never know when lust will come knocking on your heart, but they just brush me off with a simple remarks: "Walao...you're too holy liao..."
I replied them: "Is it wrong to be holy?" ...
As a Christian, we must never stop to pursue Christ-likeness...
"God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us." (Acts 17:27)
"Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousenss on you." (Hosea 10:12)
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
It is really hard already to seek God, but still, I seek Him everyday... And I certainly do not want any other hindrance for me to seek Him...and lust is one of them guys, be careful...
"For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desire pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever." (1 John 2:16-17)
God wants us to FLEE away from temptation, not FIGHT against it. Tell you all some secrets, I've been avoiding my eyes from seeing woman with sexy body, big boobs, sexy legs, pretty face, or whatever that MIGHT cause me to sin... You all too, should flee from it. That kind of video with woman wearing so little and shaking their ass isn't really very good...
You have heard that it was said, "Do not commit adultery." But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)

What a day...
But was quite ashamed of myself after seeing Samantha in this state... She has been always carrying all the burdens herself that today, she finally burst out... And while we were listening to her, hearing what happened, as I was looking at her, I realized that I actually don't know this "woman" in front of me.....even though I know her name is Samantha, and she is my CG Leader, and she seems to be the quiet type...and that's all I know about her.....
I felt that I am truly a failure in building up relationships, in my family, in church, and in society. But now that I have already been a Christian for so long, it is really a shame that I'm still so useless...
It's time to build up relationships with my leaders, care more for them and encourage them more...
Well, after that (we) went to my aunt's house, to celebrate my grandma's birthday. And well, it's quite fun I suppose, having a gathering like this once in a while... And later on my bro gave me the present (they) brought! It's a Burberry for Men Weekend! (Even though I didn't heard before -.-) But hey! It smells super nice! Thank you so much guys! Wow....what a day....and I'm really giddy now...hope that I won't faint/fell asleep inside the bathroom while I'm showering...

My Compelling Vision
My Compelling Vision
At my memorial service someday, I hope my associates, friends, and family say, and actually believe, the following:
Victor loved his Lord and served Him faithfully to the end.
He loved his wife and cared for her, cherished her, and helped her become all that God created her to be. He helped her blossom! Like the flower that set alight, the fireworks.
He nurtured and loved his children (and possibly grand-children), and saw them all come to personal faith in Christ and begin their own journey toward maturity. He did all he could to live as their hero and role model.
He was a faithful steward of all the resources God entrusted to him, investing his time, money, and abilities for maximum Kingdom value.
(If I become a pastor.) He pastored his church with integrity and a commitment to the Word of God, always teaching and leading with excellence.
He was a lifelong learner, always pursuing Christlikeness and making progress until he died.
He loved people more than his personal pleasures and was willing to flex to serve the needs of others. (Like a rubber band!)
He achieved to the best of his God-given abilities yet stayed humble, always giving the glory to God for whatever was accomplished in his life.
He enjoyed life and rejoiced his way through its ups and downs.
Core Values
C - Christ Jesus. Reminds us that He is always the core and head of our life and church.
H - Humility and honesty. Reminds us to be humble and honest in everything we do. Especially God's work.
A - Authenticity. Both in our person and practice. We want to be real and authentic in all we do.
R - Relevance. We want to be in touch with the culture and the "real world" of our congregation and our community.
I - Intercession. Always seeking for God's will and help. Pleading on behalf of another person will show that we are growing as a church.
S - Sensible. Whether it is regarding sins or the feelings of others. We need to be sensible.
A Key Paradox:
In order to be relevant, stay ancient.
In order to move forward, connect to the past.
In order to serve more people, first get away from everyone.
In order to speed up, first slow down.
In order to accomplish more, go take a break.
In order to make a statement, first be quiet and listen.
In order to get moving, make sure you are well anchored.
Summary: The secret to being effective in the now is staying connected to what is eternal.
